TECHNOLOGY
BOA® Fit System on the Cuff and Shell:
The BOA® Fit System shell delivers dialed in performance and a micro-adjustable precision fit. It consists of three integral parts: a micro-adjustable dial, lightweight yet extremely strong laces and low-friction lace guides, which are applied in uniquely designed configurations to improve the fit and performance of the boot.
The BOA® cuff single cable design allows the tension to self equalize always giving a consistent pressure to the shin. The improved wrap allows for better power transmission and improved comfort even at high tension.
H+i1 DIAL:
Provides micro-adjustable, precision fit and quick release, with quality and durability guaranteed. The BOA dial platform features a breakaway design engineered to eject the dial cartridge upon severe impact without damaging the system, allowing skiers to pop the dial back into the bayonet midmountain. In the unlikely event that the system is broken, it can be easily repaired and replaced.
Dual Cuff Alignment:
Dual sided cuff alignment for +/-2 degrees of cuff adjustment.
Energy Bolt Spine:
A bolted rear cuff gives Cortex excellent rearwards support and a precise forward flex. The top bolt can be removed to allow for a more progressive cuff response and slower rebound.
Adjustable Liner Tongue:
Tongue is attached with velcro in the tow box and can be adjusted to help provide the optimum fit across the top of the foot.
